Our Vision

We create an individualized, high-quality academic and social approach to achieve a dynamic level of success in every child’s future.  This is accomplished by partnering with families and the community to provide a safe, fun, and supportive learning environment led by passionate and understanding staff.

The Newton Learning Center opened its doors in September 2008.

Licensed as a Private School with the Nevada Department of Education, our school functions as a social-cognitive school for students needing a more individualized approach. The need for individualized attention in the areas of academics and social thinking is critical to our students.

Many of our students have been diagnosed on the Autism Spectrum or similar disorders and find it difficult to concentrate for long periods of time in large mainstream school classrooms. Our school has a low student to classroom staff ratio of 8:1. Our program is intensive and produces results. Many of our students have quickly advanced grade levels, many advancing several grades during a short period of time. Elective offerings are created to meet the requirements set forth by the Nevada Department of Education.
