Pine Hill School Counseling Corner
November 2021
We are well into the holidays. Hope everyone had a safe and fun Halloween. As daylight savings approaches the days will start to get darker earlier. We encourage parents to keep open communication with students as sometimes we fall into the “Winter Blues”. November 6th is International Stress Awareness Day. Attached is a great tool for parents to use if your students are experiencing stress. We have a few holidays coming up which are Veteran’s Day on November 11th and Thanksgiving Break on November 24th-26th. Please have a safe and wonderful time! As always please feel free to reach out to us if you have any questions or concerns.

June 2021
This school year has been flying by and summer school is around the corner. We finished up the last couple months of school with our Health Week presentations and Internet Safety. It is important to remember as summer is nearing to remind students to be safe while using the internet. There are many resources out there for our teachers and parents. Below are some suggestions and tips parents can use with their students as technology use increases over the next couple of months.
We also would like to remind parents that we will be starting our parent meetings in the Fall. We have many topics we would like to cover but are also open to hearing your suggestions as well. Please feel free to reach out to either counselor via email if you have any specific topics you would like to discuss. Ms. Haley can be reached at at [email protected] or Ms. Alex can be reached at [email protected]
We look forward to seeing you at graduation in June!
