Pine Hill School Programs

About Pine Hill School

We provide an environment that meets the needs of the whole child.

We strive to implement a quality education with an individualized component for students who have been unable to have their needs met in other educational settings.

Enhancement of self-esteem is an important part of Pine Hill program. Pine Hill teaching staff works in conjunction with counselors, administration, and parents to establish a comprehensive educational plan for each student.

Pine Hill School employs Administrators, Teachers, Behavior Specialists, Counselors, and Speech and Language Therapists to provide a team of qualified professionals, which supports students in the classroom.

The satisfaction and effectiveness of working in the classroom are directly dependent on a unified team. We believe that information gathered from various perspectives and disciplines is essential in understanding and addressing the student needs effectively.

Pine Hill firmly believes that students can and will succeed when provided with a supportive, structured and exciting learning environment. We recognize individual differences and meet each student’s needs with professionalism, insight, and the vehicle to provide students with the tools to success, positive self-image, and personal and academic growth.

Pine Hill School has two different programs (Newton Learning Center and the Edison Program).

PINE HILL SCHOOL PROGRAMS

Pine Hill School has two different programs:

The Newton Program

The Edison Program

The Newton Program

Address:

1325 Bouret Dr. San Jose, CA 95118

This specialized program is a complete educational and therapeutic school for children with average or above-average intelligence who need extra help developing social skills.

Many of our students have been diagnosed with Autism or similar disorders and find it difficult to concentrate for long time periods. Thus, our program is designed with individualized attention in the areas of academics and social thinking.

Our classroom model combines the highly individualized curriculum one might expect from home-schooling, but with a behavioral approach to group activities and social-cognitive development.

If you would like more information about our program or would like to schedule an on-site visit, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
